Projekt P: #3 day

The last day started brightly, sunny and with a welcoming blue sky. Checking out after a rather French than continental breakfast I discovered the cemetery "père lanchaise".

Later I would notice the graves of e.g. Jim Morris and Oscar Wilde. Still - a beautiful, marked by time and the passed periods cemetery with giant "sépultures" and almost withered stones.

It was a great place to enjoy sun and silence before I met my French friend Alexandre at the Bastille for a coffee before I headed back home. I was told, that this is quite a student hotspot for evening activities and vintage clothes. Next time I want to spend more time over there!

I choose definitely train or airplane for my next visit. The traffic jams near the Belgium boarder made me crazy..

Anyway looking forward for my next Paris trip. Hopefully soon.

Projekt P: #2 day

It started as it ended the day before. My Benetton coat is still not fully dry yet but with my wanderlust packed in mind, the first real day in Paris began.

One highlight was the sudden musical performance of four kitchen cooks and waiters in the "parc du Luxembourg".

Enjoying some quick lunch on a bench, people started crowding around that little, green metal pavilion in which instrumental brass music was performed.

Another highlight and recommendation for good modern cuisine was Tholoze in Monmatre. An enormous choice of wine and delicious, regional meals are for you waiting.

Check that out next time you are in Paris!

Moto Jacket, the second

Maybe it is because I am driving motor cycles myself.

Maybe I just like leather.

Maybe it is just a trend that really got me.

I really don't know, but I enjoy myself in this Moto Jacket!
And I think this is one of the most important things in fashion: that you stay authentic to your style, authentic to yourself and enjoy playing with different fabrics, textiles, brands, images and styles.

I don't think, that there is this "one" look. Our world started to spin to fast, brought too many borders down and allowed cultures to mix - latest on the internet as we saw during the Arab Spring the past years.

But instead of making everything easier - in the end we have more things we can choose from and depending on the size of our wallets ( or at least, that's what we think, the choice barriers seem far, far away).

Will you be my valentine?

One of the most liked and celebrated days arrived in Japan.

It is Valentine's Day.

The day, you give your boyfriend/husband, your males colleagues, your male acquaintances and whoever male you may care for Chocolate. The best would be handmade, but bought chocolate is better than nothing.

In the end, your aim is to show, that you care for them.

So much talk of who receive chocolate... but what do the guys do in Japan on Valentine's day? Do they take out their spouse like it is custom in America and increasingly in Europe?

No. They don't. At least not yet.

But isn't it unfair that almost every female starts from January to look for the best receipts, ideas and even takes a hell of a time to prepare everything?

Well... in Japan every male shows his gratitude for the received chocolate on "White Day" in March. A day when it is the guy's turn to return the gratitude and to give back sweets to every female he cares for. Still, thanks to globalization it gets custom to take out one's spouse as well.

Outside of Japan, I would wear one of these outfits to spend Valentine's Day (since my boyfriend arrives here in 6 days earliest)

Which one do you like more?

Outfit 1 (for spring days) and Outfit 2 (for winter days)
