The short earthquake this night (around 1-2am) and the heavy snow right now, kind of take my happy mood for spring clothes.
But!
Here my second idea for the winter-spring-gap, featuring denim, leather and red. I wondered a while back, when I purchased the red leather skirt of Dolce & Gabbana, if I wear it more frequently.. honestly, I am glad I bought it here. Because in fact, I did.
Japanese people seem to avoid wearing Jeans. If I should take a guess, maybe 15% of the visible Tokyo population wears jeans. It doesn't matter wether it snows or not - women stick with their skirt. I really appreciate that, coming from a country where over 59% of women wear Jeans only....
Looking at the pictures, I realized, how thankful I am for modern production techniques.
Once the color red ("purpur") was marked for kings and queens, for the nobleness, partially because the production of red color was too expensive. Due to a chemical mistake by Perkin, he put down the headstone for synthetic production of colors and made it possible, that we nowadays wear more than natured colored clothes.
What do you think ?
Sweater by Saint Tropez, Skirt by Dolce&Gabbana, tights by Falke
Brown/gold Bracelet by Mango, pearl bracelets from Japan, Leopard Bag by Lazy Suzan, High Top Sneakers by Buffalo
Belt by Diesel
With self-knitted Loop Scarf to wear that outside..
thank you so much for visiting my blog :) I like yours too!

So true - I stopped counting. It just annoys me, if there is one in the middle of the crappy night. I always have hard time falling asleep, since you may never know if that little shake was everything, or if something bigger comes up...
LöschenThank you :)

Oh mannnn! Earthquake and Snow? That's gotta be some kinda of crazy natural disaster first right?! And then how do you know what to wear? Maybe some steel toes boots to weigh you down to the ground with a heavy coat to block the winds. You're like a fashion super hero out there in Tokyo! Keep up the good fight, and stay styling lol :>
